8-string Hardware

Howdy,

I'm building an 8-string lap steel and looking for bridges + nuts with 2.68 string spacing.

Seems like there are a lot of pickups out there, but for hardware options are fairly limited - do builders on here machine your own bridges, or am I missing something?

You might contact Ryan Rukavina of Rukavina guitars in Montana. He makes very well machined aluminum nuts and bridges for lap steels and made me a set for an 8 string last year. Reasonable pricing. Look on Reverb and he may have something listed.
He's also a Steel Guitar Forum member.
