Blue Christmas With Memory Care Resident

On Tuesday 11-28-23 I played for residents at a Memory Care Unit. I had an experience that had never happened before. I have permission to post this video from their facility. You will see the lady come up to me and talk while I am playing. I know her personally and knew her family. She told me she love me and wanted a kiss. Well, I had to pass on the kiss part. It is joy to play some music for them.

Thank you Steve. At first I was not sure how to respond but started talking to her. I can tell you she has always been a sweet lady.

Always enjoy your performances Paul, what a great sound you get there. Our Gospel group visits 3 nursing home facilities in our area every week. I can relate to your experience! Kinda hard to concentrate sometimes, lol. But it's always a blessing for us and them, and we always leave with smiles on our faces.

Very nice, Paul. I always enjoy your music. It is difficult to play and carry on a conversation... Hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas.

Thank you Larry. It is difficult to play and carry on a conversation. I know this lady but with Alzheimers she does not remember who I am.

Nice that you're doing that, Paul. Proof once again that the steel guitar is a chick magnet.:)
