Setup charts?

Post by Roger Rettig »

I want to be able to create a copedant chart and to be able to edit it.

Can someone recommend either an app or download that would cover this?

I need a 12 string, 7 and 6 chart for my D13th.

Should I expect to have to pay for such a resource or is there one freely available?

Roger,

I use a simple Excel spreadsheet to create mine. I have one file for each guitar and when i make changes i just add a new tab and copy the existing setup over and make the changes I need. This gives you a running record of the changes too if you ever want to go back to a previous setup.

If you send me your email I'd be glad to share what i have with you.

I use Microsoft Word to create a chart. Easier than Excel (unless you know Excel).

The version of Word that I have (Office 365) is able to save it as a PDF file, for sharing with others. I also have a jpg version of it.

E-mail me and I'll send it to you and you can use it as a guide.

Hey my friend... just emailed you an "Editable" Excel file. I'd sent this to you in Nov, but sent it in several different formats, including PDF which you wouldn't be able to edit. So I'm guessing the Excel one was buried amongst some of the other emails.

Thanks, Dale - and Jack.

I found one that was 'live', Dale, but it wouldn't keep any of the changes I made.

Going around doctors' offices tiday. I'll check things tomorrow.

Thanks, everyone!
