EVANS FET 500 sound quality issue

Mt Evans FET 500 when playing I get a distorted sound its like to speaker is getting push to hard when playing the higher tone range .

Evans amps are notorious for problems with the effects loop input jacks. Place a patch cord between the in & out of the effects loop (provided you’re not using an effects unit in the loop) and see if that remedies the problem.
