Prayers for my Granddaughter

Please send prayers for my granddaughter. She is 24 years old and has a seizure disorder. She is in the ICU after having a terrible seizure last Wednesday, September 8th. She's been on a ventilator, which has happened before. But this one caused damage. She has not woken up. This is not supposed to happen. I'm having trouble coming to grips with it.

My wife has epilepsy, though only petite mal, She has it under control and has had no seizures in over twenty years, no one needs to go through them, not much you can do but hope it ends soon.

My wife's brother unexpectedly had some rough seizures a few years back and also found he had diabetes, he is a picture of health so who knows why. He has it all under control now.

My point is to have faith in your neurologist, there are some great new medications out these days, and hope you make it through this quickly.

Thanks to all of you. With no hope of recovery we removed her life-support today. She continued breathing on her own. Now she will leave us when she is ready. But I think God already has another angel.

It's ironic. Nieca is registered as an organ donor, and we know she would have wanted to give of herself (literally) to extend others lives. But since she can maintain breathing without assistance, she is ineligible to donate.

The next few days will be very trying.

Dan my heart is broken for you and your family. I lost my only child a year ago July. The loss of a child seems so wrong. I will be praying for you and your family in this sad time. Please say a prayer for our beloved Granddaughter, Nieca Milliron who departed this life today.
