My F lever raises my E's to F.
Easy to play as you never have to take your foot off the A pedal!
To me it sounds best when you slide and toggle the F lever as needed.
I found reference to this song on the forum but it cited a book I do not have.
I found it in Dobro notation (dobrojoe.com) as single notes and then harmonized it to play on E-9.
