Needed: Committee to Correct Brumley's Tom Cattin' Tablature
After releasing Tom Brumley's Tom Cattin' album back in the '70s, I had many purchasers ask if I would provide tablature for all the tunes on the album. I did so, giving a royalty to Tom. Sometime after that Tom told me he was disappointed that some of the tab didn't reveal exactly the way he played those tunes.
It is my intention to upload Tom's album and the tablature to my website as a free download of both to all who visit my website [just as my "Chord Construction..." paper currently is]. I need volunteers to go through the tablature and find what Brumley was referring to, and correct it before a formal uploading to my site. I'll provide the tab and the recording to everyone involved.
I'd like to hear from anyone who would like to join me in this project. ...Tom (tommybradshaw@gmail.com)
P.S.: Tom Cattin' was the largest selling record I ever released!

Volunteers still needed
I posted this 9 days ago. I have one volunteer so far. I'd like at least 12. That would mean that each person would only have to learn one of Tom Brumley's classic instrumentals. This could turn out to be a "ton-of-fun!" ...Tom (tommybradshaw@gmail.com)

One Quarter of The Way!
I have 3 volunteers now. Surely there are 9 more "tab-aficionados" on the Forum who would like to perfect one of Tom Brumley's instrumentals (?).

Correcting?
Hi all. I just had a very pleasant talk with Rolene. I explained how word got to me that Tom said that some of the tab in the booklet wasn't exactly as he had played a few of the tunes. She understands now that my goal is to provide as accurate information (in the Tab) as I am able. She is supportive of this project.
I now have 5 volunteers to proof the existing tablature. I'd sure like 9 more (there are 14 tunes on the album!). One tune per person would not be overwhelming for the great players who tab out tunes all the time here on the Forum.
If someone knows who can provide the final layout in professional format, I'll pay to have it done. ...Tom
