Lloyd Green back at home recovering
Got a report on Lloyd and he's back home recovering after major heart surgery.
He will be down for a while recovering until he gets his strength back. He's TROOPER!!
Give him some time and he will be back to normal. He needs rest though like anyone who has gone through this kind of MAJOR surgery.
If you want to post something as a reply to let him know you are thinking about him, I am sure he would love see them when he gains the strength to do so.

best wishes to you Lloyd for a speedy and full recovery. my father in law had major heart surgery recently and feels like a new man now.
seems not a day goes by without your name and your music getting mentioned and heard. what an inspiration and example you've been to so many. when we saw you and JayDee perform at the Station Inn a couple years ago, it was clear you haven't lost a thing. just the opposite in fact
thank you for everything Lloyd Green! get well soon sir

OMG; Bless your Heart Lloyd. I didn't know you had to have a procedure. Hope you continue to fly through it and get well and continue on my friend.

Thanks Lloyd for all you did for me. I got to sit with you at a Newman seminar back when I didn't even know what I didn't know. Watching you play up close changed my perspective on the pedalsteel. You made each note sound like infinity before you moved to the next one no matter what the tempo was. Then while we talked you asked me if I was interested in learning and showed me that thing about playing the same exact phrase in 3 places while making them sound the same. That little bit of contact and information changed everything.
Enough of that stuff ! Now just make sure you are healthy and feeling good.
And thanks again

Lloyd, I have all of your LP's and the more recent autographed CD. Also, a couple of 8 track cartridges. I guess that's a clue to how inspiring you've been. Trying to duplicate your moves has always been a challenge. Keep moving forward and get well. Lets stay on the sunny side of the sod!

I just heard of this. Lloyd, you are (as you know, I think) such a hero to me - your sound, your ideas, the feeling you put into every note - and have been for the last 45 years. I wish you a speedy and uneventful recovery.
