This is so sad. Seemed like everytime I needed a part for a guitar or a speaker, Jerry always had it. I just got a couple of hog nose wire connectors for my Emmons pp a few weeks ago. I bought a Black Box and an amp from him. We've exchanged emails and I've talked to him on the phone. I never got to meet him, but I feel like I've lost a good friend. My condolences to his family and friends. Rest in peace, Jerry.

This is so sad.
Jerry and I had been friends for more years than I can count.

He will surely be missed as he was always available to help anyone needing anything "steel guitar".

RIP my friend.

I’ve been dreading this day. Although Jerry and I have never met in person, we’ve had many conversations by email. What a kind and generous man he was. We’ll miss his no nonsense contributions to this page. Godspeed to his family and friends.

Roller was such a great musician and gracious to everyone on the stage even though, physically as well as musically, he often towered above everyone else.

We need to turn the TWANG up a little

It's not what you play through, it's what you play through it.

They say that tone is all in the fingers...I say it is all in your head :)

Jerry was one of those people you could count on for help. I have that red Emmons he's playing in the picture above posted by RMcKee. I once had a problem with it and called Jerry. He spent about 45 minutes on the phone with me to talk me through fixing it. He will surely be missed by this community. May he rest in peace.
