Hal Leonard's beginning Pedal Steel Method

Post by Doug Beaumier »

Has anyone bought the new Hal Leonard Pedal Steel Method? It's for beginners, $9.95, 48 pages w/CD. Looks like a good book for beginners. Any opinions?

It's a great book - explaining the basics very clearly. I wish It had been available when I started playing. My only criticism would be that the cd sounds dreadful (the steel is distorted) but it is still good enough to make out what the tune is. Good luck.
