Fender Artist Dual 10

Post by Tony Russell »

I have one of these guitars, serial number 0233. They are in a 1976 Fender catalogue I have, but I have no information on the production dates, how many were made, etc. etc. I understand they were part Sho-Bud, and the all-pull, double raise and lower, hex cross-rod, undercarriage certainly checks that out, but the top has the Fender "ashtray" head, and the changers pivot on a knife edge and not on a rod. It works well and is easy on the strings. So, thanks for any info you can give; Merry Christmas, Tony.

They've been discussed here before, and according to Bobbe, they made about 4400 of them in '76-'77.
