Kemper profiler with Steel Guitar Black Box
Anyone ever tried this setup before?
I tried my Kemper out today with a Black Box and it sounded very good. I’m extremely impressed.

That really is the shortcoming with even the very best of modelers. There is nothing that can do what a real tube does, especially as an input device. No transistor, FET, opamp, etc. will behave and react like a true vacuum tube. I have a LOT of Black Box customers, both steelers and guitarists, that put a Black Box before the modeler. It's a game changer. The instrument gets that sweetening and lively feel and reactivity, and THEN the modeler gets to do what it's good at.

Modeling Amp
Brad,
Not meaning to hijack the OP’s thread here but on the subject of “modeling†amps, have you received any feedback regarding using the BB with the new Fender Tonemaster Twin? Thanks, Carl
