For the olde timers here on the Forum.......the most important thing about "what key's your favorite"...it comes down to what key is the vocalist going to sing in. That's the final determination.

Same applies to what tuning is your favorite and/or what guitar, how many strings, etc.

Many of the tunes played regularly at the local dance hall.....are played in wide variety of tunings, with or without pedals.
