My arrangement of Maria Elena for Lap Steel Guitar. Played on Reissue Epiphone Century Electar Lap Steel guitar fitted with a CC style pickup. Backing played on a Tenor Ukulele!

Hi Mike,
A lovely rendition of that great old tune. Yes, the simple uke backing fits very well.
But you also have some “not so simple” uke videos on YouTube which are very worth watching.

Keith, the reason I got a ukulele was to make simple chordal backing tracks for the lap steel guitar.....I was quite taken by how much fun and what music can be made from such a little portable instrument..........I think I may have overdone YouTube with it though
