I know you will think I am beating my own drum. You are probably right. I received my new HWP Mullen about a month ago. I liked it from the start. The only thing I wasn't happy about, it had not been adjusted very well. A hurry up job and more than likely my fault.
To make a long story short, I have not played with a group in more than 10 years. Having sold my last Mullen after heart surgery several years ago. After I received my new guitar I talked with several pickers in my area wanting to sit in with anyone that would have me.
Last night, I got the chance to sit in. My new HWP, Evans and Black Box. I knew it sounded good in my music room but on stage it was more than I could ever imagine. Crisp, very clear and tone I have never had before.
I'm not a great picker so I can't give myself credit. I had so many + comments that I had a hard time beliving what the crowd was saying.
Just want to say thanks to Mike and Del @
Mullen guitar. If I ever learn how to play again this guitar will be with me until it is shot .
Just wish Herby would of taken time to set it up before delivery. Would of made it better for me.
Great guitar, Great tone, Anyone in the market, Buy a Mullen !!!! You will not be sorry.
