Hi Jory, one letter from the name couldn't have been missing could it? Bennett guitars are made here in England and very good they are too. Made by Ronnie Bennett in Liverpool. They are not mica, all are lacquared guitars, and look really good.

My biggest problem with this, and the red flags are waving madly----two broken pedals, and they don't look like they met with some sort of accident--they look like the metal just snapped. What does this say about the materials? Is this the infamous pot metal? Or some other inferior material? How about the rest of the guitar? No, if this is a one-off guitar with a maker that nobody seems to know, those pedals would scare me away instantly. Could be that the maker was experimenting, learned some metallurgy the hard way and said D'oh!
