Check out Gary Morse who plays with Brooks and Dunn,,he uses Desert Rose steels..

They are fine guitars at a VERY reasonable price...they look GREAT also...Chuck is real good to work with.

Paul:I have a D-10 Desert Rose and for what I need from a steel guitar I have to say that it's the best sounding guitar that I've ever owned. It's not an Emmons type sound..it's a very woody Sho-Bud,ZB type of sound, thick in the mids.I've had a sound in head for a long time as to what a steel guitar should sound like, this does it for me.It also has a beautiful green lacquer finish.Chuck Back is a wonderful person which is very important,He'll talk to you!

Been playing A Desert Rose for a couple months now. Like most new guitars, I am still tweaking from time to time.

I just put a pair of Star Guitar pickups in it and it REALLY sounds great.

I have known Chuck for the better part of 30 years. He is a super guy and really good to work with. He is excited about every aspect of steel guitar.

To see my guitar go to Pedal Steel and find my post. I hate to admit it but I can't remember the topic name but I am sure it has to do with Desert Rose.

Goo luck!
