In 73 or 74 Paul Franklin Sr. built me a gorgous blue lacquer Sho-Bud with 9 & 6 ,when I ordered the guitar from Shot Jackson, he said he had a pair of Aluminum necks, that Hal Rugg had designed that were slanted at the changer end, he said I could have them put on that guitar, which I of course said yes, that guitar had 24&1/2 inch necks, Nashville Steeler Jay Shupe, now has the guitar, Jay told me that the tone of that guitar got him a lot of session work!
