*No Knee Levers* Pedal recommendations?

What pedal arrangement would you create on E9th if there are no Knee Levers?
Standard ABC pedals are already there. (Plus another 5 for the C6th neck)

Would you use the 4th pedal to replicate the E lever?
Where would this 4th pedal be to get the E lever and B pedal combination?

For instance ABCE? Or EBAC?
What else?
Maybe use the 5th pedal as well?

I am asking this to make a decision whether I should add knee levers on a Fender1000 or not.

(The bottom of the deck has 74 holes in it from previous installations, so I am not too worried about vintage value)

of course Raising and lowering 4 and 8 are very common knee lever choices..

I believe the issue is more of physical location rather than just having it..or what pulls should I add..

"A" Pedal along with 4 + 8 Raise.."B" Pedal along with 4 + 8 lower..

these physical considerations I think are more geared to the issue .

Peter, I realy don't have an answer to your question but the other morning I was thinking if pedals were installed to replace the two kneelevers that raise and lower the 4th and 8th strings where would I put them and in relation to the A,B,&C pedals would they be practical since most of us are using only one foot to activate pedals A,B & C. It may be that they would follow the C pedal like E pedal & F pedal. I am sure there are answers yet to come on this. I would be supprised if some one has not figured this out. I'll keep checking on this thread to see what type of answers and suggestions come up. Good Question Peter.

Tony is right.

I think you may want to think more along the lines of knee levers.

Looks to me like you would have to use both feet for what you are wanting here.

If you decide to use two-feet, start at the other end, after #1, #2 & #3, by using at least 1/2 of the loop on pedal #8. (?????)
