Question for Reese Anderson

Reese.

With the help of some forumites I just finished setting up a little MSA Sidekick guitar. It plays very well.

My question is in regards to the construction of the instrument. Was the plastic covering made separatly in a mold and then slipped over and glued to the wooden frame or was there some heat and pressure involved in attaching this.

I just found the construction very interesting and wondered how it was originally done.
