Last nite I fought for an hour with the darn #6 socket head set screw in a Dekley bell crank. That thing would not budge. I tried WD-40, alcohol, lighter fluid, machine oil and nada, nothing, zip. Finally I gave up for the nite. This afternoon I bought a can of PB-Blaster, sprayed some into a plastic lid, dobbed it onto a Q-tip, applied it to the set screw, waited 5 minutes, and sure enough, it let go. I don't know what's in that stuff but it sure works.
Finally got the Dekley copedant changed.
[This message was edited by Ray Minich on 12 April 2006 at 12:37 PM.]

Not this morning, used up my last coupon at McDonalds...
I wonder what it is that makes penetrating oil penetrate? PB-Blaster also works for freeing up shower stall faucet knobs that are stuck on by lime buildup between the handle and the faucet shaft. Remarkable.
[This message was edited by Ray Minich on 12 April 2006 at 12:36 PM.]
