Godpseed James Calvin Wilsey, The King of Slow.

Will always have that powerful haunting lead line to Wicked Game.

Your album El Dorado is a surf guitar lover's delight of clean and trem-bent reverb.

But before becoming a Chris Issak mainstay James achored the punk band The Avengers on bass.

Another one gone way too young. He was a master of textural playing and "less is more". RIP.

I was talking with Jimmy a couple years ago about the old days in S.F. And how much fun it was. I was a big fan of the Avengers. He was laughing and telling me he is having more fun than ever playing music these days and how he is on his 3rd childhood.
