Selling Advice Required

Post by Mark Dunn »

I've decided to sell my Emmons Legande D10. I've had the guitar from new and used it for the last 10 years. A few months ago I purchased an old Emmons PP and decided I prefer it. The Legrande has 7 levers and 8 pedals and plays very nicely. It's in good condition and well setup. Since I don't often sell steels (once in 10 years) and don't follow prices I would greatly appreciate some guidance on the price I should be asking for this instrument.
My location is Suffolk, England.

Thank you for any help or advice

Mark

as mentioned below, I would use the search feature and kinda gauge it from there...but many times we really are not privy to what the final sale price was..and rightfully so, but you can see what the listing prices were and if there was any action.

good luck

Mark...just a suggestion. You might try doing a search on the F/S board. Perhaps you can get an idea of what people are asking for similar instruments &/or have sold for from some previous posts. Take into consideration # of KL's & pedals, condition etc.
BTW....Welcome to the forum. Image

Would it be something to do with "Tone" mark ?

I'm sure when you take VAT and duty into consideration, the USD value directly transfers 1=1 to UK STG.
IMHO

Thanks for the advice folks.
You know the score Basil, it was your good self and John who made me stop and think about my sound in the first place. By the way Basil did you get my email about the JBL speaker?
