UPS "Horro"

Post by Tommy Alexander »

A few short years back, I sent my Franklin to Big Paul to put a change on one of my pedals. A couple of days later, Paul called to let me know that the guitar was on it's way back and should be here in five days.
After eight days, I called UPS and they could not find the guitar. UPS said that they shipped it back to Nashville, then turned around and shipped it back to me. Four days later, it was lost!!!
I called UPS and told them that I was going to file a claim in the amount of $4000.00.
Two days later they found it in Little Rock, Arkansa. It was sent on the wrong truck, they unloaded, then set it in the warehouse.
On the 15th day, I got it delivered first class by air, and was hand delivered to my door. This is not the end of it!!!!

Did Franklin send your guitar by standard ground freight? If so, you have no recourse against UPS. Delivery time is not guaranteed for ground shipments. Even if it was shipped air, you are only entitled to the freight charges. Unless it arrived damaged.....
