Melotonen bar

Post by Bill Groner »

I have been a tool and die maker, machinist for 50 years. My plan is to make custom tone bars, to the customer's specifications. I do not plan to make "Cookie Cutter" mass produced bars. If you are interested in a custom bar, you may reach me by a PM or an email and we can discuss your specific needs.

Here is a picture of a 1" diameter x 3.25" long x 6.5 ounce bar I made for a customer. The bars I am currently making will have a full bullet nose unless otherwise specified.

Thank you for your interest.

Pardon my ignorance, but what exactly is a Melotonen bar made of? The only Melatonin I know of is a sleep aid. Thanks much.

Polymer is the material. It is pronounced "Mellow"- tone - in ...bar...your ignorance is pardoned.

The ones pictured are $100 plus $7 shipping. I do not post prices. My bars are custom made one at a time to your specs. I have no inventory of bars, it is strictly one off stuff. If interested you can PM me and we can discuss your needs.

Thank you for your interest.

I can make any size (up to 1") you like, any length. Weight will depend on diameter and length you choose.

Greetings,

A couple of questions: I’m an older beginner. I’ve had thumb surgery on my left thumb with some perminent residual weakness. I find it kind of hard to pick up , I believe it’s a 7/8 stainless bar. Are these bars easier to pick up compared to the stainless steel? If so, is there a standard size, or how could I figure out what might serve me best? I have average size hands. Sorry for the newb questions.

Much appreciated
