PF pedal and B to Bb with split ??
I`d like to experiment with the
so called Franklin pedal but I use the B to Bb lever and I`m highly dependant on the split with the A pedal . My reasoning says I can`t have both.... Is there a way around this problem ?
I also use the B t Bb by itself .
Thanks,

I asked the same question aways back and ended up able to retain the split with the PF pedal.

That is a good solution for most, but, if you have a changer full of raises on the 5th string, it doesn't help.
Since I already raise B three times, I don't have one left over.
As usual, I agree with BB that there's more'n one way to skin a cat. E.g., recognizing that the pedals down I-Im change (A open with A+B --> Am on the 1st fret with E to D#) can be obtained by lowering the E's and raising the bar one fret. Also, people half-pedaled that change for years before half stops were common. It certainly CAN BE DONE.

Thanks Larry and Michael !
I actually reasoned wrong ; it wasn`t the split (C note ) I was missing but the Bb with the LKV alone,as the split screw sets the primary lower at A . Carefully balancing the pulls I was able to get the Bb reasonably close in tune ( I use it as a flat 5 which is a quite forgiving interval ...). Finding a lot of nice stuff with the PF pedal !
