'Blue Bossa' A6

Post by Guy Cundell »

Here is 'Blue Bossa' for A6, along with some position exercises for ii Vs in C minor.

This post goes along with Andy Volk's C6 arrangement viewtopic.php?t=326621

which is a companion to Dom Franco's jazz standards post. viewtopic.php?t=326451

There are backing tracks on Andy's post and here is another. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kPccy7b1Gtk

It's easy with my new patent pending 'banana' bar, Stephan. :D

No.... It's just a choice of notes. A decent minor11 voicing is one I've not found, but there are some dyad and triad options but nothing with a 3rd, 7th and 11th.

Yeah, I'm still trying to figure out how to play that chord too. Nice chart, though.

Guys, its not that hard, you just have to have the right tonebar.

Come join E13. Lol. There are a few inversions here. I’d love to see what you can do.

Nicely done, Guy! Blue Bossa is one of those tunes that everyone who likes to improvise seems to take a crack at and E13th has a lot of the jazz guitar-like voicings but I like to see what you can get out of 6th strings - and it's a lot.
