Sierra steels are up and down on ebay.. They don't bring the prices of a Zum,Bud,Emmons etc, but I promise you, this one will NOT sell for only $500.. The keyless design will turn off some prospective buyers also, so I would bet someone DOES get a real nice deal,,,, bob

Well, there are a couple of good deals lately. A new GFI Ultra is sitting at a little over 700.00. I think there is a keyless on there also. I personally feel that the economy is slowing buyers down at bit.

What? You mean this great burgeoning economy that the Bush administration keeps telling us about?

Ooops. Gotta run, late for my Hindi lessons...

Both of the GFI's are up to 900 + dollars now with over a day left. My experience is that the last few hours are what counts. At least when I sold my carter-starter a few weeks ago. My carter-starter sold for 700 bucks, which amazed me. I just bought a new GFI myself, like the red one, and I was about own another one if that one on ebay stayed at 600.....James

It looks nice, but I already bought a new one. I couldnt find a used until I got my new one, and now there are 2 nice ones on there...I am really going to be kicking myself around if someone get that keyless for a grand....I am betting you got well over that for it when you sold it....James

I was just getting ready to post a keyless with 8 & 6 but it might be immbarassing to ask what I wanted if they are going that cheap. WOW! This guitar was 5 grand or better new. I think I'll watch the ebay guitar before I post mine. I will also post a Pro 1 3 &4, Derby D10 8&6, Zum D10 8&9 and several amps soon.......Bobby

A Brit's Sho-Bud SD-12 ProII from 1975 is nearing the end of bids and is ramping-up now..at item 7338176532..going above 800 BP's (=over $1500)--bet it goes for more than the Sierra will. Its a looker, natural finish, highly desirable worldwide.

Hmm--Brit Bud never got above 1500US on the Ebay derby. Bidders need funds for gasolina--MORE than, say, birdseye maple. Mark, you may be right. Cheerio--JZ

It is probably an older one with the round cross shafts. He did not put serial number on it, show a picture of the underneath, or the changer end. The older ones sound sweet, but parts are hard to get and they weigh a ton. But I love mine...Alan

That's a Sierra Crown Gearless. They have round cross shafts, modular pickups and folding legs. They are real work horses - I played one for a dozen years.
