I am helping a new steel player get an older (8 string) "custom" made steel back into playing condition. We have everything except:
need two - 1/8" pull rods (straight, no "hook" on bell crank end); hex nuts, and 1/4" bushings (goes in the bell crank holes, with set screw). These will be connected to the first pedal, so need to be the longest length. Don't need the bell cranks.
I know any older MSA stuff will work, but I imagine there are many brands maded in the 70's that would have these.
Email me if you can help.
Thanks, dave.

David:
1/8" stainless rod is available at most good hardware stores. As is most of the stuff you list. It's just not customized.
Tom Bradshaw probably could help you since he uses MSA stuff on his rebuilds. Big Jim Baron is in Madera and might have or can assist you with all the hardware you need.

Thanks John. I was able to find some 1/8" stainless steel rods, and even some 1/4 brass rods, and I have "rolled my own" in the past... just so busy now-a-days I was hopping that in this day of electronic communications, I would find someone, somewhere with these parts... looks like I'll be doing more "rolling".
