Helper springs

Post by Igor Fiksman »

Does anyone know what size springs were used as helper springs on Sho-Bud Pro series changers?
I was hoping to fabricate some screw adjustable helper springs, unless there's a good source for those already available.

I'd be more tempted to try the Zum method
2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects

The other end of the spring goes in a piece of nylon with bumps on it, and the bumps lodge in grooves in the bracket. You don't have to get a screwdriver in that tight space, just either forceps or needlenose pliers.
