Anyone using Lloyd's copedant

Post by Ron ! »

Is there anyone on the forum that uses Lloyd Green's copedant.
I have been studying his copedant and it makes sence to me if you like bar slants. Most of the players these days are talking about adding kneelevers but I am thinking about taking some of them of.I have been a hawaiianguitar player for over 25 years now and I can still catch myself doing things I shouldn't do on a pedalsteel.
And that is the main reason that I want to cut down on the levers.

So my question is......are there more players that use Lloyd's copedant?

I like Lloyd's set up except for the KL that raises the 4th & 8th strings. If I remember correctly that KL was on the LKR raising the E's. Using the LKR w/ped.#1 seemed hard to do for me. I may be wrong but I think the last time I heard an interview w/Lloyd Green he was talking about his set up.

If I were using it I'd swap the left knees. Raising 4 and 8 on LKL is a very natural move for most people.

I'd also swap the right knees because they're backwards from what I'm used to. But that would make no difference to someone who's just starting to play.

I think it's a great copedent. It has everything an E9th player needs.
