Count-in has gotten out of whack

Post by Jim Cohen »

The past few weeks, my BIAB count-in has been out of whack. It starts clicking, "1", "2", "3"... and then the music starts even before it gets to "4", let alone on the next "1". The song IS set to 4/4 time, so I don't know what's going on. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Jim

Jim, did you try setting the count-in to a different pattern? I have an older version of BIAB but for me it's... Options (on the top bar), Preferences, Count-in/Met., and then change the count-in Pattern or the other settings and see what happens. Make sure Allow Lead-in Bars is checked.

Yes, Doug, I tried that - and I think it fixed it, sort of. It somehow got mysteriously set to count in as 2 & 4, so the first click I heard was "2" (after a silent "1") but I was counting it as "1" and getting all thrown off. I think I've got it worked out now... hopefully.

Ive had a few things go kinda screwy with BB over the years & I would reload BB from the disc or download site & it always cleaned the problem up for me.
No need to delete BB from your PC just reload the BB program,,(if all else fails.)

I had a similar problem so I called PG music (800) number
and the nice guy talked me through resetting the software to reload factory presets. It fixed the problem and I didn't lose any of my saved files or songs.
