Emmons Pedal Rod?

What size die do I need to rethread a rod with. It is a standard Legrande 2 rod. I need to cut them off and then rethread them. Thanks in advance for any help.

Lyle, what is the length of your rods? Perhaps it would be simpler to trade them for shorter ones. The LeGrande rods are threaded 8-32.

They are 2 inches higher than standard. I have a friend who has the tools to do it with I just needed to know what size die to use.

8-32 will do it.

Lyle,
The easiest way to shorten the rods is to cut them at the hook end and rebend the hooks.
