How would you change this copedent

Post by Charley Bond »

This guitar came this way, I thought about reversing the two RKLs, but have seen some copedents with the lowering of the E on the RKL, so I decided to ask my friends what they thought about the situation.

Dick is right. But, as a matter of fact, I have owned 2 Carter U-12 guitars with the E-lower on the RKR and got used to it very easily. It is more "normal" to have it on the RKL or on the LKR.

I'd just play it as is, personally.

Would you add the 7th String G# pull on the LKR pull..?

What are some combinations I can use, to combo with the Franklin Pedal on this guitar..?

You could add the 7th string pull and it would be just like mine after you reversed the other two levers.

Yep just swap the two knees on the RK ... and should be good to go!
LKR I would add either the 7th raise to G#, or the 6th lower to F#

I'd move A, B and C to 2-4, move your LKV to P1 and more.
If I were to have 4 & 4, I'd have
LKL: either raise the As or lower the Bs (I'm a little odd, my F lever is probably my least usedl)
LKR: E lowers
P1: 1 to G# and 2 to E
2-4- A-C
RKL: 1 to G and 6 to F#
RKR: 2 to D/C#, 9 to C#
2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects
