Sierra "Royalty" used

Sierra ("Royalty model") D-10, 8 pedals & 4 knees, built mid 1970's - is this a good used buy for around $1500.00 if in good condition?

Sierra's I have seen are usually built like a tank!

My opinion is that it is a bit too high considering the age and weight factors. Please keep in mind that opinions vary from person to person depending upon personal preferences. Sierra did and does make good guitars as I have had a couple of them. But for that price range you can get a newer model guitar with less weight as well as good mechanics and sound.

There's a Sierra Artist D-10 on ebay right now. I think the price is $1200.
