age of a Sho Bud Pro3?

Post by Marty Broussard »

Hey folks, I have a ShoBud ProIII Custom that I'm almost finished restoring.(Thanks to Duane Marrs and Ricky Davis for the insights and help.)I'm wondering if anyone can tell me the approximate age. The body has the numbers 10230 stamped on the underside, it has the long nylon changer tuners, round crossbars, teardrop knee levers, colored fretboards, chrome necks, and the pedal bar has screws that pass thru the front legs. I have an old Sho Bud catalog but it doesn't list this guitar. Thanks for any feedback. Marty B.

1977-78.
The stamped serial numbers are only there for your personal books to identify your steel and don't tell the year of the Sho~bud.
The Model number only tells what the model is; and I believe you already know that..ha.
