Who built this PSG?

Post by Jim Dunaway »

Back in the early seventies I saw a used, very old looking, pedal steel in a music store in Toronto. I don't remember how many strings it had but the 5 pedals were strange in that, instead of the pedal bar being mounted on the front legs it was mounted on the front and rear left legs, with the pedals projecting toward the right side of the guitar. From front to back each pedal was longer than the one behind it so that each could be reached without hitting other pedals. Does anyone know who manufactured this?

Yes, a Gibson (if the pedals were straight), or a Multi-Kord (if the pedals were "curved and swoopy").
