I haven't downloaded the steel settings. But I've found the program is not accurate. I compared readings on the Peterson iStrobosoft on my iPhone 6, Peterson StroboPlus HD, and the Cleartune App. Both the StroboPlus HD and Cleartune always agree, however the iStrobosoft will vary and not always display the correct notes.
I dealt with Peterson on this about two years ago and they had me do many tests and also try different options in the program. I sent all my findings to them, several times doing testing, and the last time I even sent them some sound files of strings (tones) as they requested. That was the last I heard from Peterson.
I still have the iStrobosoft app on my iPhone but don't use it. If I need the phone tuner I use Cleartune.

I have Cleartune on my phone, and have an adapter, in case my Stroboflip has a problem. I also tried the iStrobosoft and it didn't sound right. I never did any comparisons, but I just found it unusable for me.
