Yahoo search not working

It started a day or so ago. When I type in the box and hit search web, nothing. I wonder if the problem is Firefox related?

Yahoo search box works for me on Firefox 44. If nothing happens, make sure that if you use NoScript, you allow scripting on Yahoo search.

there was a Firefox upgrade and it seemed to stop working after that. I can type in the box, but it won't search.

Try disabling all add-ons by restarting in Firefox's Safe Mode. This may reveal if an add-on was blocking Yahoo search. It could be NoScript, or AdBlock, or some privacy setting.

With FX open, click on the hamburger icon, then on the little question mark in the bottom bar (to the right of "Customize"). From the Help menu, select Restart with Add-ons Disabled.

Like I said, Y.S. works for me in FX 44.0.2, the most current public release. And I have a few active add-ons.

I opened Firefox in safe mode, and the Yahoo search worked.
