Goodrich pedal question

I aquired a Goodrich model LSW volume pedal and went out to play last night, and when I hooked the pedal up got a lot of distortion at low and high volume. I had put in a new battery for the sustain before leaving home. Tried 2 new batteries, no change. At home this morning, normal with same batteries. Amp does not distort. Any ideas? Thanks, Jack.

I'm gonna be interested to hear the answer to this one! I've had the same problem. In the studio. Engineers have said that "Sometings distorting." I've had to pull out my ancient Shobud pedal, and the distortion has gone away. Yet the Goodrich sounds fine at home. Some sort of interference when there's a bunch of other electrical stuff around?
