Mr.Shrader....I'm delighted to have the opportunity to help you. I regret the loss of your friend.
Production records verify serial number 2C-2814 as being a white double 10. The guitar left the MSA factory with 8 pedals and 2 knee levers.
It was originally sent to Chicago where our distributor (CMI) was located. The date of production was June 19th 1974.
Wally Scott, (the man who inspected the guitar) was originally from New Zealand. I always admired Wally's confidence, determination, enthusiasm and positive attitude.
Unknowingly to anyone at MSA, he moved here with his family with the intent of being a part of MSA. He was a great friend, employee, craftsman and player, but unfortunately he passed away in about 1981 at age 33 after a battle similar to that of your friend.
