ZBI guitars??

Of course I know what a ZB is and I know what a BMI is but I have never heard of a ZBI... is this something that was made by Zane Beck before BMI and after ZB?? .. I have never seen the brand... it looks nice... Black mica/aluminum neck and trim... there is one on ebay with No bids and it looks like it may go cheap and I'm somewhat interested .. any help???? bob

That is a BMI, listed by a reading/writing impaired seller. The logo says "BMI". I have never understood how someone with the item sitting right there in front of him can still go and spell it as if he had nothing to reference. I see it here on the forum all the time. It has nothing to do with knowing how to spell. Just about having enough respect to look at the decal and spell it the way it is written.

I've got one so I know the logo well. The seller states that it is 3+2 with room for one more lever. I bought mine in '83 as a 3+2 and added two levers many years later---I suspect that there is no problem adding two rather than one, if anyone were interested in this guitar. Could be wrong.
Lever kits are still being made.

It's definately a BMI Logo on the front apron of the guitar. It's mis-spelled on the e-bay info. NR
