Emmons Refurbished?

Post by Tom Callahan »

Less than two weeks ago, my wife and I took my little Emmons S10 to Bobbe Seymour to look at and see if it was worth putting the money into it to add a few things.
I watched in amazement as Bobbe took care of all my wife's fears about ruining the tone of the Emmons. In a voice almost like a counseling priest he told her and I quote, "Honey, we won't hurt The tone, just make it easier to play and actually it will play better and sound more smooth".
Well she went and got my little Emmons yesterday and has been on pins and needles waiting for me to get back home.
Tonight, I set it up and played "Tis no Secret" and I want to tell Mr. Bobbe Seymour one thing.

"YOU DA MAN"
I don't know if he restored it, refurbished or rehabilitated it. Frankly, I don't care. He took this flea market Emmons and brought it back to life.
So Bobbe, from my wife and I, "THANK YOU".
IT IS A JOB WELL DONE.
So now it is an Emmons S10 with 3&4 and plays like new.
