Has this happened to any of you? The brass insert in the bar for my Matchbro keeps sliding out. If it has, has anyone glued the insert in? If so, what type of glue did you use and did it indeed effect the tone or responce?
I'd hate to lose the insert. It sure would be nice if Goodrich had a website or e-mail address.

Just SuperGlue it and be done with it. It won't change the tone a bit. The insert is only there to add weight to the plastic bar. I'd use the gel formulation of SuperGlue and let it sit a couple of hours before using it. Should work like a champ.
Coincidentally, I just talked to Ollie Goodrich on the phone and he agreed that SuperGlue should work fine.
