As it does, seems like four times a week recently, Flash has become outdated, poses a security threat, is therefore disabled and videos and whizbang graphics won't play.
I downloaded the prescribed Adobe update and the installer quits every time I try to install it. Quits instantly.
I started up the Mac Pro 1,1 (OS 10.7.5) in Safe Mode and Flash Installer still quits (also instantly) every time I try to install it. Just like Unsafe Mode, Danger Mode, Imminent Destruction of Civilization Mode or whatever default mode is called.
Any ideas what to do?
(I'm thinking about buying a later 64-bit Mac Pro anyway so I can use later OS versions and software.)

Try uninstalling the current version of Flash Player you have installed, then installing the new version.
