What's Needed For A Good YouTube Video

Post by George Redmon »

Besides a good HD camera, what gear is needed to make a decent YouTube Video. I'd rather not use the cam mounted microphone. Do the fella's run the sound through a mixer, or their computer, and the video through the cam, and use software to put it all together or ??? A quick tutorial for a computer dummy is appreciated. :D

If your camera has an audio input, you could run the sound into it. Some cameras has a good enough mic that it works OK by itself. I suggest try it and see. You might even need position speakers so the camera picks up the sound better.
