Greetings from half Moon Bay, I have had this MSA
Classic XL for 30 years and now i understand from the thread on how tone is generated that I have had the same problem with the roller nut all this time.
the highs are brittle unless i roll them off.
What I have experienced is a rattle in the roller against the roller slot and a loosness against the
pin. Where can I get replacement rollers and a new pin to end this problem once and for all. I believe it will improve the tone of this otherwise working Steel.
