Got 'puter problem

I hope my yelling and screaming hasn't been too much of a distraction to you today.

My computer Win-8 went off today along with my printer and monitor. I'm on Wi-Fi and it's been working beautiful all day until this 'failure'.

I'm currently unable to get onto the Internet. All efforts have failed.

I've turned everything off including the MODEM and after a thirty minute wait turned the power back on.

Everything else is just fine except I cannot get onto the InterNet.

Can you possibly help. One of the messages I got was the NLB or something has failed.
