"Wolfen" movie song

Post by Frank Freniere »

There was a scene in a bar where a beautiful country song was playing in the background, female vocalist.

I've searched the net but all I can find is the orchestral soundtrack by a James Horner.

Anyone?

I believe it was Lynn Anderson singing "Sea of Heartbreak"...I remember the steel work. Don't know who was playing, but if memory serves me correctly, it reminded me a little of Weldon Myrick or Sonny Garrish. :D

This is a list of the personnel on that lp (Outlaw is Just a State of Mind) as posted by drummer Jim Gordon on his blog. Steel players seem to be Hank DeVito and Dan Dugmore.

Sea of Heartbreak is track 10 or in this case, #5 on the "b" side of the lp.

Personnel:
Lynn Anderson - vocals
Jim Gordon - drums
John Lopresti - bass
Jay Winding - keyboards
Glen Hardin - piano
Fred Tackett - guitar
