Rosin For Volume Pedal?
I recently replaced a volume pot, along with a new string. Someone told me about a rosin product to use to improve the grip of the nylon cord (to prevent slippage). I think that they called the product "Rosinette". Does this sound familiar to anyone? I was told I could probably buy it at Radio Shack. The clerk at Radio Shack had never heard of it. If someone could help me with what product to use, I would really appreciate it!

If you are using an Ernie Ball, Here's what I did with mine to stop that problem.
I replaced the set screw with a round headed screw, partially ground for extra clearance but not too much to interfere with the slot, wrapped a nylon bootlace around the pulley and took a wrap on the screw. threaded it through the eyes and melted a knot on each end. It's worked for over 18 years like that.
I also ditched the "tone pot". AB EJ Extra life pots last between 3 and 5 years. No noise.
